Y Llynfi Library has recently moved, but not moved too far! The library now has a new first floor space in Maesteg Sports Centre, with easy access and is ready to open to the public again.

They can help you with your local history enquiries, as well as research into family trees. Y Llynfi is back with increased opening days: they are still open on Wednesday and Fridays (9am-5pm), and from this week they will also open on Thursdays, from 2pm until 7pm. Please note that they do close for lunch between 1pm and 2pm.

Due to public access limitations to the Archives Room, books and resources will now be located for you by our staff. If you’re planning to visit us, it’s best to get in touch in advance so we can find your materials and have them ready for you. Please contact us on: yllynfi.library@awen-wales.com Please also contact us for local history research appointments, and for volunteering opportunities.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the new Y Llynfi Library!
