Proud Writing Workshops

'Proud Writing Workshops' (1)

Develop your storytelling in these free writing workshops. The sessions will be led by author Norena Shopland and are open to all.

The sessions will be at the following libraries, on the following dates, at the following times:

Porthcawl Library – Wednesday 14th June – 10 am.

Maesteg Library – Wednesday 14th June 2 pm.

The Proud Writing Workshops are part of a creative writing project, focusing on responding creatively to pieces of Wales’ often hidden or forgotten LGBTQ+ history.

A part of the ‘Proud Writing’ workshops, an e-book of stories is planned to be published later this year. This will be a free downloadable book, and a great way to get your writing published.
