New Library Management System

Between Thursday 21st and Wednesday 27th November, our library members will experience some short-term disruption to our services, while we transition to a new all-Wales system for managing our books and customer data.

During this period, you will still be able to borrow and return items at your local library, however, you will be unable to become a member, search the catalogue, change your account details or reserve books online.

We are expecting the following services to also be affected:

  • Our public computers;
  • eResources (items already downloaded should be unaffected);
  • Libby; and
  • Our online catalogue and your account.

Once implemented, the new library management system will bring significant benefits to all library members including updates on when your favourite author releases a book, or when books on your chosen topic arrive in stock.

We will continue to protect your data throughout the transition period and beyond. Please speak to a member of staff if you are concerned or view our Awen Cultural Trust Privacy Policy here: https://www.awen-wales.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Privacy-Notice-Combined.pdf.
